Slow website? Express speed optimisation, measured before and after.
Pages that take several seconds to appear, a sluggish basket, an admin area that spins forever. We measure, find what is really holding the site back and fix it. You pay once we have gone through the before/after figures with you.

In short
Blue Digital speeds up slow websites, 7 days a week: late server responses, oversized images, expensive SQL queries, missing cache, too many third-party scripts. Load times are measured before any work, fixes are applied in order of impact, then measured again. You pay after a demo of the results.
The site works, but nobody waits for it to load anymore.
Visitors leave before the page finishes loading. Google Ads charges for clicks that go nowhere. On mobile it is worse. You have been told to buy a bigger server, or install yet another caching plugin, with nothing to show for it. Measure first, then touch things.

Where is the slowness coming from?
A slow site almost never has a single cause. These are the ones we find most often. Each can be measured, so each can be fixed.
My site has this problemTTFBThe server takes ages to respond
Before anything appears, the page is waiting on the server. PHP with no opcode cache, overloaded hosting, an outdated PHP version.
imagesImages weighing several megabytes
Photos uploaded straight from the camera, with no compression or modern format. On mobile, they hold up the whole page.
SQLA database that grew with no upkeep
Tables never cleaned, missing indexes, the same query run hundreds of times per page. The site slows down as the catalogue grows.
scriptsToo many plugins and third-party scripts
Live chat, ad pixels, sliders, web fonts, extensions installed then forgotten. Each one adds weight and requests.
trafficThe site buckles under heavy traffic
All fine in the morning, then a campaign or a sale goes live and the site can't cope with the load.
mobileCore Web Vitals in the red on mobile
Search Console flags slow URLs, the layout jumps while loading, buttons respond late.
Every hour of downtime has a price.
A slow site doesn't stop, but some visitors give up before the page appears. Your campaigns still pay for those clicks. Estimate what a few hours of lost sales are worth.
Indicative estimate: online revenue spread over trading hours, not counting customers lost for good or the impact on search rankings.

We speed up the server and the application
Slowness hides in the code and the database as much as in the server configuration. We work on both, whatever your platform.

New measurement on the same pages, set against the first. You see the difference on your own phone, then you pay for the work.
What the express optimisation includes

- Review of the server, database, code and loaded assets
- Full backup before any change

Frequently asked questions
Question not listed? Ask it directly: a developer answers, not a call centre.
Are you available at weekends?
Yes. We respond 7 days a week, weekends included. Weekends are often a good time to optimise a site anyway, when traffic is quieter.
Do you guarantee a specific PageSpeed score?
No. The score also depends on scripts you want to keep (ads, chat, analytics). What we commit to is a method: measure, fix, measure again. You see the before/after figures before you pay.
How long does an express optimisation take?
The highest-value fixes (cache, images, slow queries) are usually done the same day once we have access. If the site needs deeper changes, we give you the timeline after the measurement.
Do I need a new host or a bigger server?
Not necessarily. A more powerful server often hides a code or database problem without solving it. If hosting really is the bottleneck, we show you the figures that prove it.
Could you break any features?
Every change is backed up first and tested: basket, forms, payment, customer accounts. If an optimisation gets in the way of a feature, we roll it back.
How does payment work?
The price is given after the measurement, before any change. You pay once the fixes are done and the before/after figures have been shown to you.
What access do you need?
Admin access to the site, SFTP or SSH access to the server and, if possible, to the database. Search Console access helps but isn't essential.
Will the site stay fast?
The gains hold as long as the site is looked after. The report lists the habits to keep (image sizes, plugins to avoid). We can also keep an eye on speed as part of monthly maintenance.
