Server down, website unreachable? We bring it back online.
502 error, a page that spins forever, a server that won't even answer over SSH. A sysadmin logs in, finds what failed and gets the service running again. You pay once your site is back online.

In short
Blue Digital brings unreachable websites and servers back online, 7 days a week: 502 or 504 errors, full disks, stopped databases, exhausted memory, broken DNS. A Linux sysadmin finds the cause, quotes the price before touching anything, then fixes it. You pay once the site is back online and you have seen it working.
The site is down, and nobody knows where to start.
Your host says everything is fine on their side. The agency that set up the server has gone quiet. Customers are calling to say the site won't open. You need someone who can read a Linux server, find the fault and fix it without making things worse.

What you see when a server fails
These are the server failures we see most often. The message in the browser already hints at which layer gave way.
My site has this problem502 / 504Bad Gateway or Gateway Timeout
The web server answers, but the application behind it can't keep up: PHP-FPM stopped, processes stuck, responses too slow.
refusedThe site won't open at all
The browser says 'connection refused' or 'timed out'. Web server stopped, firewall misconfigured or machine switched off by the host.
disk fullDisk full, everything freezes
Logs growing for months, backups piling up on the same disk. Not a byte left: the database and the site stop.
MySQLError connecting to the database
MySQL or MariaDB stopped, too many simultaneous connections, tables damaged after a hard reboot.
OOMServer overloaded, rebooting or crawling
Memory exhausted, processes killed by the system, CPU maxed out by a bot, an attack or a scheduled task.
DNSThe domain no longer points to the server
IP address changed but not updated, DNS zone edited by mistake, domain expired. The server is fine, but nobody can find it.
Every hour of downtime has a price.
An unreachable site stops selling, stops receiving enquiries and can slip in Google if the outage drags on. Meanwhile your campaigns and fixed costs keep running. Do the maths.
Indicative estimate: online revenue spread over trading hours, not counting customers lost for good or the impact on search rankings.

The whole stack, not just the website
A site that is down usually means the web server, PHP, the database or DNS. We work on the whole chain, whatever application runs on top.

A typical fix, hour by hour
How a typical server outage is handled. Timings depend on the cause, the order never changes: diagnosis and price come before any change.

We check the site, admin area and forms together. You pay for the fix once the site is back online.
What every server fix includes
- Diagnosis: system, web server, PHP and database logs
- Copy of critical data before any change
- We fix the cause: disk, service, configuration or DNS
- Checks on the site, admin area, forms and emails
- Live demo of the site online before any payment
- Written report: cause, fix, weak points
How you pay
- Beforethe diagnosis and the price, given before any work starts. You approve, or not.

|---|---|---|---|
| Who logs into the server | A sysadmin, directly | Often a developer, not a server specialist | A ticket passed to a team |
| Price | Given after diagnosis, before any work | Billed by the hour, no visibility | Quote after several exchanges |
| Payment | After the fix and a live demo | Often 100% upfront | Purchase order and admin delays |

| After the outage | Optional monitoring and maintenance, no long commitment | No follow-up planned | Annual managed-services contract required |

Frequently asked questions
Question not listed? Ask it directly: a developer answers, not a call centre.
Do you work at weekends?
Yes. We respond 7 days a week, weekends included. Servers rarely pick a weekday to fail.
How quickly will my site be reachable again?
Common outages (full disk, stopped service, broken configuration) are usually fixed the same day once we have access. If the server itself is damaged, we give you the timeline after the diagnosis, before you are charged anything.
My host says everything works on their side. Who is right?
Often both. Your host monitors the physical machine, not what runs on it. If your VPS is switched on but PHP or the database has stopped, it is up to you, or us, to step in.
What access do you need?
SSH access with admin rights or, failing that, your hosting account (OVH, Hetzner, AWS, DigitalOcean and so on) and any control panel such as cPanel or Plesk. If you no longer have them, we help you get them back.
How does payment work?
The price is given after the diagnosis, before any work. You pay once the site is back online and you have checked with us that it works.
What if the server can't be saved?
We tell you straight. In that case we set up a new server and rebuild the site from whatever data can be recovered, or from your latest backup.
How do we stop it happening again?
The report sets out the cause and what to watch. We can add monitoring with alerts (disk, memory, uptime) and look after the server every month, with no long commitment.
