In short
Blue Digital provides emergency support for custom PHP and Laravel applications, 7 days a week: 500 errors, stuck queues, failed database migrations, broken Composer dependencies, incompatibilities after a PHP upgrade. A developer reads the existing code, even undocumented, gives the price after diagnosis and fixes it. You pay once the application is back in service, after a live demo.
It's your tool, and nobody knows how it works any more.
The application was built a few years ago by an agency or a developer who has since left. It runs part of your business: quotes, bookings, a customer portal, internal management. Today it shows an error and nobody dares touch the server. You need a developer who can read code they didn't write, quickly, without making things worse.

Do you recognise one of these symptoms?
These are the PHP / Laravel failures we fix most often. Each has an identifiable cause, so each has a fix.
My site has this problem500'Server Error' across all or part of the app
In production, Laravel hides the details. The laravel.log file holds the full trace: file, line, query.
queueEmails, exports or jobs that never go out
Queue workers have stopped, Supervisor no longer restarts them, or Redis is full. The app responds, but nothing finishes.
migrateFailed deployment or migration
An interrupted database migration leaves tables half changed. We bring the database back to a consistent state before redeploying.
composerNothing starts after a composer update
A package updated with a breaking change, an incomplete vendor folder, a PHP extension missing on the server.
PHP 8App broken after a PHP version upgrade
Your host changes version and old plain PHP code or an older Laravel release can't keep up. We fix the incompatible code.
419Endless logouts or a 419 error
Misconfigured sessions, a stale config cache, a changed domain or HTTPS setup. Users can't log in or submit a form.
Every hour of downtime has a price.
A business application that is down blocks quotes, customer files, orders or scheduling. Your team waits, your customers wait, and salaries are still due. Do the maths.
Indicative estimate: online revenue spread over trading hours, not counting customers lost for good or the impact on search rankings.
Laravel, PHP and their environment
A custom application depends on its server, database, queues and external APIs. We diagnose the whole setup, not just the code.

What every fix includes
- Review of the application, PHP and server logs and code
- Backup of code and database before any change
- Fix committed to Git if a repository exists, one created if not
- Tests of key journeys: login, data entry, exports, outgoing emails
- Live demo of the result before any payment
- Written report: cause, fix, technical debt spotted
How you pay

Question not listed? Ask it directly: a developer answers, not a call centre.
Can you work on our application at the weekend?
Yes. We respond 7 days a week, weekends included. If the app goes down on a Saturday, you won't wait until Monday to find out what is going on.
The code isn't documented and the developer has left. Is that a problem?
No, that is the most common case. We read the code, the database structure and the logs to understand the application. We fix it without rewriting what works.
Do you only work on Laravel?
No. We also fix plain PHP applications with no framework, and apps built on other PHP frameworks such as Symfony or CodeIgniter. After the diagnosis we tell you if anything falls outside what we do.
How long does it take to get the application back?
A 500 error, a stopped queue or a stuck migration is usually fixed the same day once we have access. Very old code that needs to run on PHP 8 can take longer: we give you the timeline after the diagnosis.
What access do you need?
SSH access to the server, the database and, if there is one, the Git repository. Without a repository, we start from the production files and create a clean history before changing anything.
How does payment work?
The price is given after the diagnosis, before any work. You pay once the application is back and you have seen it working with your own user accounts.
Our data is sensitive. How do you protect it?
We work on your server without extracting data unnecessarily. Access is used for the job and can be revoked at the end. We can sign a non-disclosure agreement before starting.
Can you look after the application afterwards?
Yes. The report lists the technical debt we found: an unsupported Laravel version, no tests, backups to review. We can then maintain the app every month or plan an upgrade.
Tell us what your application does. We'll get it running.
